Fran and Bill's House
An expansive set of photos showing the house that Fran and Bill Nicholson constructed during 1972 and 1973, located at 3619 La Costa Drive. Fran and her children (Dayna and Scooter) are in some of the photos. FM 1092 and Cartwright Road can be seen in the background of a few pictures. This house was also owned by NBA player Rick Barry in 1978. It now owned by a former NFL player. Photos donated by Fran.
Sales Brochure
This photo album is of an old sales brochure that was used in the early 1970's. Most of the houses featured are located along ElDorado Blvd. The brochure was donated by Mrs. Holt.
Par Guide 1974
This is the par guide used for the golf course when it there was only 18 holes of golf available in Quail Valley. The old course utilized some holes on the La Quinta course, and some on the El Dorado course. The par guide was donated by Mike Morris.
Quail Valley Stables
Here are pictures of the old stables located next to where the Banker's Self Storage is on FM 1092. The business was a partnership involving MacNaughton, Overstreet, and operated by Dan and Burnis Foy. Previously, the Foy's operated another stable close to Hwy 59 and Bissonnet. The stables were built in 1971 and operated for a few years before becoming a very popular gas station and car wash in 1977. Photos donated by Burnis Foy.
